.The Aster is a very special flower in Greek Mythology. the aster was said to have been created by the tears of the goddess Astraea, who wept when she realized how few stars there were in the sky. Her tears formed asters that turned the bleak landscape into a panoply of colour and beauty, a touch of the divine to remind us of nature’s inherent splendour and capacity for renewal. Asters will grow anywhere  - in a crack in the wall, on the pavements anywhere they can find a drop of soil to put roots in.
