Description

The Kalinda Nose Pin is an ode to the Aboriginal people of  44,000 BC Australia who wore crafted bone nose pieces through their nasal septum. This was said to be a symbol of status and wealth. Leaves, twigs, flower pigments were tied or applied to the Kangaroo bone septum rings as fashion statements of the upper castes or the leaders.

We’ve always known the aborigines for the riot of colours in their lives. The Kalinda Nose pin is a diorama of Aboriginal bone jewellery culture.
