Fire-catcher Sunflower, a common scenery in the Kenyan countryside is a powerful image to look at, especially in summer. The sun glints off of the waxy petals and glints cheekily in the fields. The aura of positivity this flower exudes is truly one of the reasons I went through the struggle of pressing this extremely fleshy flower for almost a month. But this golden glory glinting in the sun makes it all so perfectly worth It.
